    Mission

    Our mission is to restore the member to become responsible citizens and stewards of their community. To reshape vulnerable lives through community partners, teachers and leaders, giving children and families the confidence to create bright future while providing them with greater principles through educating on coping skills and therapeutic activities.

    Counseling Services

    Professional counselors are available to help members work through a wide variety of issues that they might be facing during their everyday living experiences.
    Services Include:

    Confidential personal individual and family counseling

    Workshops and presentations to classes and groups.

    Consultation with faculty and contractors.

    Referral for medication evaluation and management with psychiatrist or family practice physicians.

    Skills training and development may include:

    Our Staff and Contractors

    LBCO's highly qualified specialists provide services in the home, school, and community. We pride ourselves in working with only the most qualified, motivated, and compassionate professionals.

    The team consists of M.D., Psychiatrist (contracted), LPCs (Licensed Professional Counselors), LPC-Is (Licensed Professional Counselor-Interns) and QMHP-CS (Qualified Mental Health Professionals-Community Support) and CSSPs (Community Support Specialists)

    Targeted Case Management

    Targeted Case Management (TCM) services are provided to help eligible clients gain access to needed medical, social, educational, developmental, and other appropriate services.

    Medication Training and Support

    Medication training and support services consist of education and guidance about medications and their possible side effects. It is curriculum-based training and guidance that serves as an initial orientation for the client in understanding the nature of his/her mental illnesses or emotional disturbances and the role of medications in ensuring symptom reduction and increased tenure in the community.

    Group Counseling

    Counseling groups give Members, along with Parents/Guardians the opportunity to share experiences, learn new perspectives, and experiment with new behaviors in a safe and supportive environment. Counseling Services offers a number of group therapy options to meet members’ needs.
